Paw prints are the impressions left by animals with hooves or paws. Paw prints are usually unwelcome, especially when they are left on clean clothes or freshly mopped floors. However, these prints in the dirt also symbolize life, an embodiment of the happy-go-lucky spirit of an animal that left it. Some paw prints have symbolic meanings and a pin bearing a specific print can represent that symbolism for the wearer. A bear paw print symbolizes direction and power. A cat paw print is a symbol of both nature and companionship.
